Feb 26, 2014. There are many knockoffs on eBay,made by the manufacturers of the bh cosmetics, crown brush cosmetics and coastal scents, etc.
They aren't any more dangerous than those products, but they aren't the real deal. Importers usually have completely non related objects they are also selling in bulk.
The funny thing is, the product is actually often indistinguishable to the naked eye. No pun intended. If the price is less than 50 for a new naked palette. Its a knockoff. Buyer be aware, not just beware. Tons of cosmetics we use everyday are also made by the knock off companies, I have also read that 'seconds' products that don't pass QA have been sold on eBay, but that's just a rumor. Feb 26, 2014 Easiest way to find out if its fake is thrpugh the crapy packaging and crapy box it come with I've seen te fake ones downtown and I got to hand it to them they do a pretty good job of trying to make it look like the real thing, its more noticibal throught the box packaging cuz the box itself looks cheap, there are though duplicates that fake even the outside box with the plastic packaging and primer potion and even the purple velvety thing that holds the palette but the fake ones purple inside is way more cheaply made.
Feb 26, 2014. I wouldn't trust it simply because sometimes even the seller isn't aware the product is fake. I'm sure there are a lot of people who sell the real thing and take care to make sure the stuff they do sell is real but some may not know for sure that what they're selling is fake. Definitely read through the reviews and if you do buy then make sure you inspect it and make sure it is real. I would just advise to buy from a reputable source to begin with though, like Sephora, Ulta or the brands actual website. Personally I'd rather spend a little more money and know for sure I'm getting a 100% real product and know that I'm not risking my health or money to save a couple bucks. That's just my opinion though, I'm sure many have good experiences, but personally it isn't something I myself would risk.
